Corinne is the proud owner and Principal of Greenscape since 2007. She started with the company in 2004, in a variety of roles including: Design Consultant, Senior Design Consultant, Sales Manager, and Operations Manager. Her greatest accomplishment has been surrounding herself with an inspiring, talented, and dedicated team of people at Greenscape that care about the clients and the company as much as she does.
Corinne graduated from the University of Alberta with an MA and BMus, and from The Royal Roads University with a Graduate Certificate in Project Management. Her past experiences include, being the Managing Producer for a successful independent touring theatre company, November Theatre from 1998-2009, being the Composer and Musical Director for over 25 award winning theatrical productions, writing “The Words and Music of Tom Waits” which was published in 2008, and she currently plays trombone (yes trombone) in the reggae band “Los Furios” which has 6 CD releases and are much more famous in Mexico than Canada.
As well a being an Artistic Associate for November Theatre, Corinne is the President Elect for ISES Vancouver, an Event Coordinator for the BCSCA, performs regularly with her band, Los Furios, and even sleeps on occasion.
Possessing a unique blend of creativity, innovation, leadership, and project management experience, Corinne ensures that your projects will “rock” but also be on time and on budget.
Coming from over 10 years of experience in interior, commercial, and trade show design, Christine has a rare blend of creative talent, confidence, interpersonal skills, and project management ability that makes her an ideal leader at Greenscape since 2006.
In her role as Creative Director, Christine is responsible for the complete design process for commercial and residential projects, as well as rental displays that Greenscape Design & Decor is known for. With her Interior Design Certificate from BCIT, years of merchandizing with Art Knapps, Industrial Revolution and Torre and Tagus to name a few, Christine has extensive knowledge in interior design, horticulture, commerical and residential design. She puts the wow in wow factor. Her award-winning design work can be seen in just about every display that goes out.
Christine has strong influence in the creative direction and new design focus of Greenscape. Some say image is not everything, but she would be the first to disagree with you!
Natasha Frankowski designs, assists in the planning, coordination, and production of weddings, social occasions, and non-profit as well as corporate events. She is the newest member of the Greenscape sales team but no new comer to the event or design industry.
Natasha is dedicated to exceeding client expectations on a daily basis. Developing personal relationships with each client is the key to her making each event unique and successful. Her focus is dedicated to reflecting client’s visions in every way and throughout every moment of any event. Natasha discovered her creativity graduating with a BA in Photography and Sculpture Fine Arts degree from UBC and a MFA in architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design in New York. She has travelled the globe and lived in Hong Kong, Germany, Austraila, Japan and the US.
Natasha worked as an architectural lighting designer for several years in Los Angeles and also as a freelance photographer here in Vancouver. She’s also dabbled in the social media and marketing industry and also has numerous years of restaurant, hospitality and catering supervising experience with working with such companies as Louis Gervais Fine Foods and Catering as well as The Lazy Gourmet to name a few. Her vast travels and experience allows her to truly view things from many different angles.
Jo has been at Greenscape since November 2009, and she brings 20 years experience as a youth and family counsellor to a new career in social media. Greenscape owes its presence in social media to Jo’s passion to engage with people and get the word out about Greenscape and what we can provide to our community. In other words, the lady can chat!
From a British and Air Force Brat background, Jo has travelled extensively throughout the UK, Europe, North America and Mexico, living in Germany for 5 years. Having had a child as a teen she beat the odds, finished college, has had a successful career and raised an amazing daughter. Family is very important to her and she also provides part time childcare to her 3 year old great nephew.
Very environmentally aware and conscious. Recycling and being green at work, as well as her personal life, is a passion for Jo.
Jo is a trained Yoga teacher and reflexologist and is currently working on her first book.
Parke joined the Greenscape team in 2008, bringing with her over 5 years experience running her own business of a Vintage and Retro Collectables On-Line store. As our Operations Manager, Parke generally feels responsible for everything (which she kinda is) and does great work keeping the warehouse running smoothly and providing great customer service.
Her past accomplishments include her BA in Women’s Studies with a focus in Fine Art. This experience gives Parke a great eye for display and design and the ability to colour outside of the lines. She loves trees, nature, creating, design, love, and smashing things, which makes her a perfect fit for Greenscape.
Jethro has been with Greenscape since 2007 in the role of Production Coordinator, which means he is responsible for overseeing many of our custom designs and fabrication projects. Everyday he looks forward to working with such a positive team (that is what you call a group of women you deal with daily – “a positive team,” though on some days, Jethro has other words to describe this phenomenon…).
With over 18 years of warehouse and custom furniture building experience (yes he is the oldest feller at Greenscape), Jethro is a fountain of knowledge and bad puns and enjoys designing and building whatever custom projects we can throw at him.
When he is not at Greenscape, Jethro can be seen performing with his reggae/ska band, Los Furios, spending time with his twin boys or playing croquet with The Delta Triple Peels.
Colleen joined Greenscape in 2008 as our number cruncher and has proven to be a wonderful addition to the team. She diligently keeps our finances in line with a constant upbeat attitude (except when we lose a receipt!) and is willing to tackle any project we throw at her.
Colleen has over 18 years experience in the office and accounting fields, which she enjoys thoroughly – much to some people’s amazement. Some of her previous accounting positions were at Western Stevedoring, Red Cross Society, Salvation Army and In Balance Accounting Services. She is an integral part of the Greenscape family!
Jenna started at Greenscape in the summer of 2010, and works in the warehouse creating floral designs and arrangements, organizing inventory as well as preparing film and event orders. Her favorite part of the job is going onsite to set up the decor elements with the rest of the team; there is a feeling of fulfillment at the end when you look around and see all the different items together in a grand display.
Her previous experience includes working in the floral industry since 2005 after graduating from Kwantlen University College with a certificate in Commercial Floristry and later a Floral Arranging Certificate Program and has also completed a Wedding Planning course at BCIT. Jenna has worked with a wedding/events decorator, and in various office and customer service settings, which further kindled her passion for event decorating and design. When she’s not working for Greenscape, Jenna moonlights with her own small, home-based floral design business and creates arrangements for friends and family.
In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies with friends, baking tasty treats in her kitchen, and playing a round of Carcasonne or Settlers of Catan.
Coming up to two years in September, Kayla is currently the warehouse team lead, and also heads our scenic painting department. Although Kayla has taken many art classes through school, she truly believes her current skill is due to practice outside of any classrooms.
As a big perfectionist, Kayla avidly wants things done in the best, yet most efficient manner. She enjoys helping and guiding the newer employees that come to Greenscape by teaching them the tips and tricks she has learned through her own experiences.
At home, when she’s not behind her computer playing a game or surfing the net, She can be found drawing, reading, or even taking care of all her cute little fish.
